Virginia State Certified Home Inspector

Mike is registered, and thereby certified as a Home Inspector through the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR). His State Certification number is 3380000608 (Expires 01/31/2019). He also is approved by the state to perform New Residential Structures (NRS designation). A home inspector cannot, in the state of Virginia, identify himself as a “certified home inspector” unless registered with DPOR. Mike has also been a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), which is the oldest national, as well as regional, professional organization for home inspectors. He believes it to be a higher indicator of a home inspectors level of competence and professionalism than state certification.
